Saturday at Art on the Lake in Curtis, Michigan

We had steady misty rain with at times, GUSTY winds and very cold temperatures all day Saturday up at the lake in Curtis, but

the crowds were cheerful and braved the weather to attend the festival.

There were plenty of food stands, two very talented bands, and even a wonderful children's parade!

We had a BLAST-this despite the fact that we were up and out the door before 4:00 in the morning for the 4-hour drive to Curtis, Michigan to get our tables set up and ready to go.

We are looking forward to next year so By the Bay Handcrafted Soap can once again, be a part of Art on the Lake!

About By the Bay Handcrafted Soap...

We started making our By the Bay Handcrafted cold processed soap in 2004 right here in our restored Victorian home not far from the Bay of Green Bay in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

We use only the finest all vegetable oils including pure Olive oil-NEVER Pomace, Palm and Palm Kernel oil, Coconut oil and Rice Bran oil to make a luxurious, moisturizing and long-lasting bar of handcrafted soap.

Several of our soaps include herbs and dried flowers from our very own cottage garden, and pure, rich honey from Hoffman's Ranch in Medina, North Dakota... And last but not least By the Bay only uses tried and true Essential Oils and Fragrance oils from Majestic Mountain Sage in West Nibley, Utah renowned for product purity making our unique brand of handcrafted soap lightly scented. We have over 20 unique and timeless scents available!

No preservatives are added.

All natural coloring is used in our Red Clover Soap, otherwise, no colors are added. We like the natural beauty of each individual bar of soap without additional additives that might irritate skin.

By the Bay soap is poured into wooden molds (better heat retention), hand cut, cured for one month and then each delightful bar is individually labeled and wrapped.

We have not raised the price of our soap in over six years!
